As an individual, I have a practical approach to living with a rich and creative inner world that I’ve been nurturing since I was young; through art, theatre, cinema, creative writing, design, and photography. All these creative endeavors eventually drove me to work in the field of Graphic Design. In my spare time, I focus on the joys of drinking a nice cup of tea, reading a good book, and enjoying a film with snacks: being sure to balance both sweet and salty (very important). As well, I love to bake, because there’s nothing like sharing something sweet with the people you love. I often become most excited to bake during birthday parties, focusing on a loved one’s favorite treats or ingredients and taking a classic and spicing it up with my own special touch. Whether it’s for my husband, nieces/nephews, family or friends it just brings me a lot of joy to spoil them for their birthday or special celebration.
Like my baking, my approach to graphic design is much the same, taking inspiration from what’s around me and creating something new from something old. This approach allows me to take a client’s thoughts or even just a need and combine them with my own ideas bringing them to life. From funky and quirky to classy and elegant I like it all, and it would be my pleasure to explore ideas with you to create your perfect design; as to me, there’s nothing more rewarding than the look in my clients’ eyes when they hold the finished product in their hands.
